Our Mission
At Charlotte's Freedom Farm, we believe that every animal deserves to live a peaceful life where they are loved unconditionally. We take in abandoned and surrendered animals that may not have had a second chance otherwise. Many of our animals come to us with health problems or as orphans. We rehabilitate them and let them live out their lives in peace.
Our Story
Charlotte's Freedom farm was founded in 2017 when our founder Lauren rescued a baby sheep. She was named Charlotte, and Lauren's dream of an animal sanctuary became a reality and Charlotte's Freedom Farm was born. Since 2017, we have moved from our first farm in Comber, ON to a bigger property in Dresden, ON.
Charlotte's is now home to over 200 animals, including Charlotte the sheep who started it all.
